Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Wahat Al Karama
Located directly opposite Abu Dhabi's world-famous Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Wahat Al Karama is a timeless tribute honouring the sacrifices of Emirati martyrs.
Designed by British artist Idris Khan, the Memorial is an imposing public art structure made up of 31 massive leaning tablets clad in aluminium. The Memorial Plaza features amphitheatre-style seating for up to 1,200 people and a spectacular shallow pool with a breathtaking reflection of both the Memorial and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
Qasr Al Hosn
Qasr Al Hosn – the birthplace of the nation is one of the best Abu Dhabi tourist places to visit if you’re into culture, heritage and history. The oldest standing structure in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Hosn is home to an original watchtower that was built around the 1790s. Qasr Al Hosn stands as a museum today encapsulating the development of Abu Dhabi from a fishing and pearling settlement in the 18th century, to a modern, global metropolis, displaying artefacts dating back to as far as 6,000BC.
