The bold, striking shapes and colours of abstract art, the beauty of Arabic calligraphy – reinterpreted in sound. Tune in to avant-garde interpretations of the Abstraction and Calligraphy − Towards a Universal Language exhibition artworks.

For the first time, artists and instructors from Berklee Abu Dhabi will be performing a selection of songs inspired by #AbstractionAndCalligraphy as well as some of their original songs. Artists such as Kandinsky were greatly inspired by the composers of the 20th century including Arnold Schönberg and Goston and New York musicians including Feldman and John Cage. This special quartet features music that inspired artists from the exhibition, performed by Samvel Gasparyan on piano, Shilpa Ananth on vocals, Yarub Smarait on violin and Firas Hassan on percussion.

عرض "على أنغام لغة الموسيقى"
تخيّل فن التجريد باختلاف أشكاله وجرأة ألوانه، يُحاكيه فن الخط العربي بروعة جماله، إذا ما اجتمعا لحناً ونغماً. كُن على الموعد مع عرض موسيقي مبتكر يجسّد أعمال المعرض الفنية لحناً ونغماً

لا تفوّت هذا العرض الذي نبثه لك من تحت قبّة اللوفر أبوظبي والذي يقدّمه موسيقيون ومدربون من بيركلي أبوظبي، حيث سيعزفون ولأوّل مرة، أغانٍ مستوحاة من معرض "التجريد وفن الخط- نحو لغة عالمية"، إضافة إلى أغانيهم الخاصة. فقد استوحى فنانو القرن العشرين، مثل كاندينسكي، أعمالهم إلى حد كبير من موسيقيي تلك الحقبة، مثل أرنولد شونبيرج وغوستون، وموسيقيين من نيويورك مثل فيلدمان وجون كيج. ويتألّف هذا الرباعي الموسيقي من سامفيل جاسباريان على البيانو، وشيلبا أنانث غناءً، ويعرب سميرات على الكمان، وفراس حسن على آلة الإيقاع
